C.W. James bracelets and chokers are assembled by hand to the highest quality standards. They are designed to last and are constructed using luxury watchmaking techniques. C.W. James jewellery uses only solid brass (nickel and lead free) and solid sterling silver (recycled), so unlike plated metal jewellery, C.W. James pieces will not lose colour over time. The straps are made from supple leather (soft and pliable = comfortable to wear). To care for your C.W. James jewellery please avoid contact with water, perfume, creams and lotion. Do not swim while wearing your C.W. James jewellery and avoid wearing while cleaning, gardening, participating in physical activity or going to bed.

Storage: Please store your C.W. James jewellery piece individually, in its pouch, with the enclosed anti-tarnish strip – away from heat and direct sunlight.

Metals: The metals (brass and sterling silver) used in C.W. James jewellery will patina gradually over time with exposure to air and moisture. Some like the visual quality of the patina. However, if you prefer a polished lustre, the metal components can be easily restored using a jewellery polishing cloth. If your piece is heavily tarnished use a gentle metal polish (like Brasso or Silvo) and a soft cloth to remove tarnish and restore lustre. If your piece is set with crystals, please avoid rubbing over crystals with a metal cleaner. Do not use tissue paper or paper towels to clean metal components as they can cause scratching.

Crystals: The crystals used in C.W. James jewellery are lead free Swarovski crystals. Crystals can be cleaned with an untreated, dry, soft cloth. Do not use paper towels or tissues to clean crystals as they can cause scratching.

Leather: The leather used in C.W. James jewellery is a supple, rich leather with a lightly pebbled finish. The leather used is durable. However, to maintain its flexibility, occasionally treat the leather with a leather conditioner. Replacement straps are available for purchase upon request.
